Bring em' on

This makes me want to vomit in my own mouth and swallow. We've had 60 American deaths in Iraq since Bush declared the war over on May 1st, and yesterday, on a day where 10 more of our boys were wounded in various attacks, he issues this gem of a statement:

"There are some who feel like — that the conditions are such that they can attack us there, (Iraq)" Mr. Bush said. "My answer is, bring them on."

Nausea...rising...fight it, fight it...whew.

Bring them on. BRING THEM ON!?!? Americans are fighting and dying over there, in guerilla style conflicts during a military occupation, and our president's answer to their attackers? Bring them on.

And this story hasn't made headlines in any major media outlet - even the New York Times buried it on page A-10. Is this really happening or am I in the twilight zone?
